This field trip was very informative and educational. On this particular hill, condensed into the middle of a vast neighborhood, there were various kinds of plants that contributed greatly to this Indian Rock. From the time we got there till dusk, the tour revolving around this precious rock and plants showed lots of character. Just getting to this location was also an another journey. I didn't suspect how close a scared rock of the Luiseno tribe would be established within a residential area. Besides hearing all the descriptive backgrounds about the rock's story and plants, my whole experience was uplifting. The plants which i did not think were necessary to photograph happen to be play important roles in reflection of this rock's existence. Overall, the whole trip was awesome. Other than the fascinating stories about the history and plants, watching the sunset from this high point of the hill was incredibly remarkable too.
